Bear Lake It snowed while we were there in September of '94. Just an inch or so. But we rushed up to Bear Lake while it was snowing because we had to. We weren't disappointed. Hope you're not either. Enos Mills Cabin Museum & Gallery In 1973 the homestead cabin buily by Enos A. Mills, "Father of Rocky Mountain National Park," was placed on the National Register of Historic Places. On this site is an informal museum in the homestead cabin, illustrating Mill's achievements. Descendants of Mills preserve the facility and accept no government or corporate funds.
